Mai Meneses became famous thanks to its appearance in Operación Triunfo, a Spanish version of the British and American TV success the X-Factor. From that programme, after a bit of work, the band Nena Daconte was born, and Mai has got its place in Spanish music.

Now Mai will perform in the capital of Spain in sala ContraClub on 15th Setpember 2011. This concert is scheduled for 10pm and ticket price is 20 Euros.

Sim Kim Fanlo is the other half of Nena Daconte. They start a new season with a CD that was  released in 2010, Una Mosca en el Cristal (a Fly on the Glass). The singer from Madrid is going strong for that style of writing simple lyrics, with catchy and repetitive melodies that some love and some not so much.

This third album by Nena Daconte is the CD that she’s always wanted to produce, a CD with organic sound. Its twelve topics mix dreams with surrealism and local customs.

This sing-a-song writer from Madrid also writes songs for others, like the singer Ana Torroja with Sueña (Dream), a song of freedom.
