“Traición”, en el Teatro Español
The Spanish Theatre (Teatro Español) will show in its small room the play “Treason” by Harold Pinter until 25th September 2011.
The play is on from Tuesday to Sunday at 9pm. The ticket price is 16 Euros, although Tuesdays and Wednesdays there is a special discount and the price is only 12 Euros.
María Fernández Ache has directed the current version of this play. Cecilia Solaguren is the main actress, well supported by two talented actors, Will Keen and Alberto San Juan.María Fernández Ache ha sido la encargada de realizar esta versión actualizada de la obra y por eso nadie mejor que ella para ejercer de directora.
Cecilia Solaguren es la actriz protagonista, perfectamente secundada por dos actores de talento como son Will Keen y Alberto San Juan.
Durante 95 minutos los tres protagonistas realizan un viaje al pasado, motivado por un encuentro entre Enma y Nico, dos amigos que se citan en un bar tras más de dos años sin verse.
Durante la conversación, ella le cuenta que ha revelado a su marido la aventura que Nico y ella tuvieron durante siete años, traicionando la confianza del esposo.
Así se desencadena una verdadera red de traiciones especialmente tupida, en la que los tres personajes quedan completamente atrapados y sin capacidad de salida.
For 95 minutes the three characters take a trip to the past, encouraged by a meeting between Enma and Nico, two friends who agree to meet in a bar after not having seen each other for two years.
During the conversation, she admits that she told her husband about the love affair between her and Nico seven years before then, having betrayed her husband.
In that way the audience starts learning about the dense net of betrayals that the three characters start getting tangled into with no way out.
