Los mejores planes con niños

Children also have a right to enjoy the big city and have fun in it. Madrid is always ready for them and has plenty of fun plans on offer, especially stage shows. One of them is Randolf the Magician in Let’s Save the Stories, a story that tells the adventures of this magician who has been entrusted to save classic stories such as Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, etc., which are in danger.

It is a show that brings back the magic of traditional stories that all children between the ages of 5 and 11 will love. Find it at Artespacio Plot Point (Calle Ercilla, 29 – Metro Embajadores). You can buy your tickets for 6-8€ here.

If you want something more spectacular, we have a show that has been a huge success for over 18 months now: The Wizard of Oz: The Musical. This show offers a simple mise en scène combined with audiovisual projections that give spectators a three-dimensional sense of space. However, it’s the actors that really make this show what it is, with their excellent performance of this immortal story. It’s a show recommended for children and adults alike, who will be able to enjoy the songs and the special atmosphere of the world of Oz. Where can you see it? At Teatro Maravillas (Calle Manuela Malasaña, 6 – Metro Bilbao). Tickets start at 14€.

Putting the stage to one side for a moment, another great plan for young children is the visit to the house-museum of Ratoncito Pérez, the Spanish version of the Tooth Fairy. Here, they can bring their teeth that have fallen out and change them for an authentic certificate of origin issued by Ratoncito Pérez himself. It is located in the heart of Madrid (Calle Arenal, 8, 1st floor), but its timetable is somewhat chaotic, so it’s best to check it on their website. Tickets cost 3€ and are valid to visit the little house and the museum.

Lastly, for children in search for a thrill, why not have a day of unlimited fun at Parque de Atracciones, the theme park located just a few minutes away from the centre of Madrid.
